Hello Ericson Friends,

There is always some sadness in getting another boat. We have a larger vessel in mind, so are putting our 1988 E34-200 up for sale. Lying on the hard Lake Superior, Port Superior Marina, Apostle Islands, Bayfield, WI. Tall-rig, sturdy and as fast as many 38-40's. Here is a link to a photo folder. A detailed doc description is also attached here. We are finishing the last bits of work from overwintering. We’ve owned the boat for close to 15 years and have kept her in good condition, with regular refits, improvements. Many know this awesome cruiser/racer is not a common Bruce King, Pacific Seacraft-built boat. If you are looking to move up or down, please contact us.

Thanks!

Nice looking boat Joe & Kathy ! What is your asking price? Also I did not see the detailed doc description attachment.

Very nice boat and although I’m not looking for another boat, the best group of photos for a listed boat that I’ve seen for awhile. Very detailed and clear. I’m sure you’ll sell it easily.

Nice mods! Traveler aft on the bridge deck like an E-33 or an O-34. OEM fixed ports replaced with external lenses that appear to be fastened in place like the Olson's.
Lots of detail work has been done.
:)

Joe & Kathy,
Did you move the traveler to the cockpit?
If so, did you like it more or less than when it was on the cabin top?
Hi,
No, we did not, but we started with an E29 that had the traveler on the transom. We've sailed for many years, and have always thought the traveler should be in the cockpit. We've never liked the traveler on the cabin roof for two reasons. The leverage/purchase on a loaded boom from a cabin top traveler has always seemed less than ideal, while access from a traveler in the cockpit to closer to the boom end is a more powerful, faster, and better way to control the main.

Joe.

Hello Joe and Kathy
Not sure if you will see this but for those that do; as the new owner of this boat I can not express the gratitude I have for such excellent boat owners. I am so grateful for the labels on wires, valves, hoses, even screws needed to be removed (or not) for access panels. The manuals were almost not necessary as the labels, arrows, and notes were clearly visible whenever I needed to do anything to the boat. Its a practice that I always do as well and it has made life so much easier. Thank you Joe and Kathy!
On another note, I am in the process of mounting wind instruments and face the dreaded task of fishing a cable thru the mast. I have read the posts that I could find on here and it doesn't sound like a very fun endeavor. Joe or Kathy did you tackle this task on Seiche? If you see this do you have any pointers? I hope you are having a great adventure with your new boat and new cruising grounds. Thank you again!
