I sail out of Chequamegon Bay, western Lake Superior. I would like to exchange ideas about sailing up here wit other Ericson owners. Anybody out there ?

Hi,
My wife and I keep our boat at Port Superior.
Not that far away from Pike's Bay, like right next door.

I was talking to a friend in Washburn the other day and they told me that it was 80 degrees.
Clearly unusual for this time of year, but I took it as a good sign.

Hi Bob

I was up there earlier today on other business. Weather is beautiful and the marina is starting to launch. Forecast is for bad weather soon though. My boat is an Ericson Olson 911se. I bought it used a couple of years ago and have been working on it. Hope to see you in Bayfield soon.

This is JeffB we have Finisterra a ER39B out of Madeline Island . 'been there since 1991 with an ER 32 II for 11 years and the 39B since 2003. We typically take a two week cruise with friends to the Canadian shore, Slates and of course Isle Royale. I don't get on often, so I'm not that good a rapid communication; but, I'm game to discuss boats and voyages. Original boat was Yellow and red boot stripe by now white with black topping.http://:egrin:http://www.ericsonyachts.org/infoexchange/images/smilies/grinning_ericson.gif

I went through the director a year ago and now have friend links to everyone I could find that listed Lake Superior as home. Have tried to create a rendezvous like the guys in the northwest a couple of times. Upper midwesterners are so shy, "don't you know".

I am not in water yet. But that is where I am headed to when....the list is long.
Always happy to meet up. I'll bring the coffee.
