We did not. Not sure where that came from. The boat was refit sometime in mid 90's and then sat in a barn for 30 years only seeing water a handful of times. When my uncle-in-law decided it was time to clear it out he let us take it for the price of the new tires on the trailer. That was April 2024. Since then, we've spic-n-spanned every interior and exterior surface, , replaced all the running rigging, hoses, spreader boots, radio, lights, batteries, windex, cushions, cushion covers, carpet, head, boathook, rudder and tiller. . The admiral sanded and repainted the bottom with barrier epoxy and antifoul, and treated the teak cockpit grating with starbright teak cleaner.
Next up will probably be an all new outboard and sails.
I've replaced the jack, winch, and and scrape and hope to repaint the trailer and install new lights before haul out at the end of the season.
The new Rudder Craft rudder and tiller were worth every penny.
