It may only be a 1 person job, I think the only bolts that penetrate are for the winch. I think those are just screwed in, but I may be wrong :) Maybe I'll drill em through.

Is it as simple as removing the rails, applying a bit of 3m sealant on the bottom and on the screws and re attaching the rails?

Cedar and attaching Cedar is readily available @ HomeDepot and I think it's probably as rot resistant? For the plexiglass, I don't think it needs to be screwed in. Will attaching it with silicone be ok or Should I use a polyurethane type adhesive?

Hey Roscoe, there is an inboard, unfortunatetly it's not a diesel. It's the infamous OMC saildrive. It seems to be working fine so far, the guy who owned the boat before me rebuilt it totally, so It'll probably run fine for a few years. If I keep the E25 I'll expect to get an outboard sooner...
