Have a stripped out lag bolt on my Ericson 35 MK. 3 1988 sailboat engine mount. I was very curious on how to fix this. I think the easiest way would be to just install the next size up bolt. No way to access under fiberglass to install a nut on opposite end of bolt. Thought about hole sawing...

Thanks to all that replied to my post on corrosion related to the keel bolts. Looks like I have a lot to think about before my next haul out.

Hull paint color ericson 35 1988 On the order confirmation sheet color is noted as 069 white . It must be Gelcoat my repair guy was using both terms when talking about repair.They are very different indeed. THANKS FOR THE CORRECTION.
