1977 E-32 In Chula Vista (San Diego Bay) Going Up For Sale - $10,000 firm.

I'm going to be putting my honey "La Bubulubu" up for sale soon on eBay. I'm no longer able to sail her as often as I would like. She has many upgrades including: roller furling, lazy jacks, pressurized cold water, autopilot, radar, cockpit-controlled stereo w/ MP3 connectivity and 10 disc...

    Birds On Radar Dome

Mark, How did you secure the spike strip to your radar dome. I'm leery of using screws because I don't want to penetrate the dome and interfere with the antenna's rotation or possibly start a leak. I'm considering epoxy. Thanks, Charles

    Birds On Radar Dome

Thanks for the replies, guys. I'm going to put the spike strip on this weekend. If that doesn't work, Rob's alternative sounds like a good idea, but I don't think I would need the scope. ;)

    Birds On Radar Dome

Lately, a seagull has taken roost on my JRC radar antenna and is pooping all over the stern of the boat. I suppose that the marina and local law enforcement would frown on my use of firearms. Therefore, I'm thinking about mounting one of those spike strips that West Marine sells for this...

    Olympic Sailing

Does anyone know where/how to view Olympic sailing? NBC doesn't have any coverage scheduled. My 8 yr. old daughter is taking sailing lessons and I'd like her to be able to watch. Thanks, Charles

Big Dog - Dogs on Board

Sorry to revive an old thread, but I just saw it. Do any of you dog owners have advice on how to get a dog to WANT to get on the boat. We have a 3 yr. old lab who appears deathly afraid of the boat. When he was smaller, I could lift him onto the boat, but then he would promptly jump off...

    Leading line aft

Although I have not yet done it, I thought about it and looked into it. Here is a link to a site I found to be informative: http://www.harken.com/rigtips/mastbase.php

Hull cleaning / diving service in San Diego

Amir's Diving (619/656-0582) cleans my boat once a month and changes zincs when necessary. Cleaning without zinc change = $40.00. Cleaning with a zinc change is usually $65.00. My boat is 32' and he bases his price on the length. I have been satisfied with his work. Charles
