    For Sale: 1987 Ericson 32-3 - SOLD

After wasting a couple weeks to accommodate a member here and earlier post(er) on this thread, I’ve listed the boat with Integrity Yacht Sales in Tracey’s Landing, Md. C/O: Mike St. Cyr. http://www.yachtworld.com/integrityyachts/integrityyachts_0.html

    For Sale: 1987 Ericson 32-3 - SOLD

Thanks Bolo and Peaman. I’m just cutting through the chase and listing it as my bottom dollar as well as offering a very nice craft for anyone that wants a solid Ericson. I’ve enjoyed this boat immensely and truly hope the next owner appreciates it as much as I and the previous owner did.

    CNG refills

Having experienced difficulty or more like an impossibility, I yanked the CNG stove, hose, and bottle out of my 32-3 and have since utilized the space where the stove was with a portable refrigerator/freezer. It fits perfect and powered by ac/dc. For cooking at the dock, I use an induction...

Mystery Hose in engine compartment, and oil question

Definitely the oil sump hose. If you follow it, it will lead to the bottom of the oil pan.

    Oil Spill

A quart of oil in my opinion is too much, but the good thing is it is obvious and measures will certainly be taken to rectify the spill/leak. If only we could get the powers that be to address plastic in the same fashion. Strictly a thought of concern and not a political statement.

    An Ericson sighting

We had a group of five and caught our allowed limit of two Rockfish each with the largest at 29” and smallest at 19 1/2”. I was actually surprised given all the the rain the remnants of Ida dumped on the region.

    An Ericson sighting

While enjoying a day fishing via Charter on Saturday I spotted this beauty just north of the Bay bridge and Annapolis. As much as I love fishing, I couldn’t help but feel regret I wasn’t sailing on such a beautiful day.

    Still Going?

It seems like it faded away since our illustrious organizer Mark sailed off to the northeast. Still, quite a few or us remained behind and are still on the Bay and maybe looking for a new Captain? Lol. Congratulations on the Ericson!!

How to read Universal M25 dipstick

Whipping it like eggs becomes frothy, which might make a good start to a delicious omelette, but not so much for viscosity. When too much oil is added, the level in the oil pan becomes too high. That allows a fast-moving lobed rod called the crankshaft to come into contact with the oil and...
