Anytime I’ve drained my HE, I’ve had to bleed. And since it completely empty of coolant, lots of air.

Thnx for posting all this! I'm about to order mine from Garhauer and this info is very helpful. Are you happy with the overall length of 4 inches? There's a few spots where my current bolts press a little on the vinyl headliner.

So far, so good. After about 8 hours of use this bracket seems fine. About $80 for the bracket (3307110006) if anyone is interested. However, the original appears a bit more rugged in my opinion.
