    E27 outboard motor

To your question. 6 would be enough for limping in. I have my 9.9 off right now getting service and 5.5 longshaft does the work, just limited obviously. 25+

    Wanted 25 + Main

Hi, It has been a few years since I've been on here. My adult daughter is showing interest in my 25 +, and I've been sailing on a patched, old main that continues to need work. Does anyone have, or know where I might get a used main? If so, please contact me. Greg Cantwell...

Removing motor and saildrive from my 25+.

Thanks Loren, I've got a two stroke 9.9 on the back and although I've strengthened a bit with backing plate, I' will re-assess when I get engine and fuel tank out as I'll have more room to work. I am a little under 4 hours from boat in the winter and I never seem to get accomplished what I need...

Removing motor and saildrive from my 25+.

My little Volvo Penta diesel seized a number of years ago and I am not going to spend to re-power it. My goal for the last few years has been to get to boat in the spring and to take the motor and sail drive out and glass in the hole. Of course, I never get that done in time and defer to...

Pedestal, wheel, compass off my E 25+

I removed the pedestal/binnacle and replaced with a tiller after the backing plate disintegrated and I lost steering this summer. I think I will stay with the tiller. If anyone needs pedestal/binnacle/compass/ss wheel. let me know. Although backing plate disintegrated, the bronze under floor...

Help locating tiller head for 25+.

The Charles W. Morgan was in port in New Bedford for a big homecoming and local boats were invited to join the boat parade. I invited people down, dressed the boat and when approaching the swing bridge lost all wheel steering. Missed the parade. Anyway, the aluminum bolts and nuts on pedestal...

Volvo Penta MD5 Exhaust Pipe Elbow

Thanks Stan,I may see if I can have the old one welded. Cheapest alternative might be to buy one of many used boats out there with a working or not penta and take the pipe. It's getting that silly.

Volvo Penta MD5 Exhaust Pipe Elbow

Good size hole opened up in this elbow recently. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement? Part number is 838224. It is a fairly simple pipe, but I just cannot find anyone who stocks or sells it. Possible place in Europe wants about 250.00 - 300.00, but I have not contacted them...

I'm Looking For A Bow Pulpit

Check out Railmakers in CA. Very helpful. This shop provided stock SS parts for many origninal Ericsons. Greg

    E28 and Buzzard's Bay

Buzzards Bay I keep my E-25+ in New Bedford and often go over to Padnarum for lunch or a swim if I've got company and short time. My wife and I just went over on Saturday, spent the night in Padnarum and flew back to NB in record time. Southwest breeze is always blowing strong on returns...
