In a mad rush to get prep done before heading out to boat in two weeks. New hatches were on the to do list. These are made with scrap hardwood flooring, hinges and pistons from Amazon and some lexan someone left under my boat at the boat yard (thank you whoever you are). Laminated them in 4/5...

Yup, the mermaid has a prominent plan our cabin and will be up for grabs as part of next year's festivities!

Rudder is rebuilt and new thru hulls in place. Can't wait to meet up with all our fellow Ericson owners :)

All is good, boaters just hate spending money unless it is shiny and fits on the ;)

We added 2 100w solar panels and a bar fridge from Wal-Mart. The inverter has enough capacity for the fridge but make sure you have enough house battery capacity to get you through the night

Have any of you from the Canadian side brought your dog with you before? I assume we need vet info and am going to google it now but just wondering how much of a hassle it is when you are crossing border?

Just to add to the discussion in refrigeration. We built a day stern arch with 200 watts of solar panels, 2 days to vacation I decided to put a fridge on our e39. Bought an inverter, a Walmart bar fridge with separate freezer door, hooked it up to house battery and had cold beer for 3 weeks.

As for Town or Nature, not a strong preference but I guess that a slip is more predictable in case of bad weather??

We have talked with friends and plan on bringing at least one couple along with me and my wife. All dates and times work with us but the earlier we know the better

So we are starting to plan for next raftup, is it final for July 21-23rd at Deer Harbour?
