    jib sheets 38-200

I did see Samson web site and line recommendations, makes total sense to me however my concern is the size options 12mm the largest. My current sheets are 1/2" and work with my 30 year old Barient winch, my guess these winch's were designed when typical line was larger then the new sizes that...

Again thanks for all the information so helpful in narrow this decision down, right now I'm thinking line sta-set found some thats 14.5 mm which seems about right and thinking 65 to 70' should be enough.

    E 38 Auto pilot

I too have the exact same AP installed 6 years ago. I have used it on a few deliveries up and down the coast of WA.motoring and motor/sailing (30plus hour trips) with no issues. I would say it is simple to install easy to work on if needed and as some one said a great extra hand . if I were to...

    E-38 Cockpit Drain Question

Thanks Loren for posting this, sorry its taken so long to respond, just a crazy week. As Steve mentioned my drains do crisscross to thru-hulls therefore creating the low spot trapped water that did freeze. this left me with several inches maybe 6" of standing water in the well. l think the best...

    New Standing Rigging for E38

Perhaps I should use the word efficient instead of simple it's just climbing gear P T R owner is a rock climber it allows you to go up the mast unassisted for inspections and small projects. You can call them I believe they will line you out with the gear needed.

    E38-200 Shower seat question

E38-200 Shower seat Yes there is a bit of storage space under the seat. I put an 8" Beckson sealed deck plate in the top for access; I store TP and paper towels in zip-lock bags, works great. In the winter I leave open for ventilation. Jim

    Recommendation for Autopilots

wheel pilot I have a Raymarine wheel pilot on my 38-200 installed it 2 years ago was a piece of cake to install and yes it is at the manufactures limit for boat size. We just finished an 800+ NM trip up north from Portland OR and it worked fine. At one point while off shore we had 25 knots of...
