    Keel Bolts on E34-2

From everyone's great input, it seems that the difference of 11 or 12 keel bolts may come down to the model: E34 - 11 bolts E34-2 - 12 bolts Egregerson - that diagram is great - is it from the Owners Manual of the E34?

    2020 PNW Rendezvous - July 17-19, 2020 - Genoa Bay Marina

Annette! That's fantastic news! I'm going to be next door in Maple Bay for a haul out of a friend's boat tomorrow. We'll be the ones polishing/waxing the topsides of the Catalina 30. Why don't your drop by? Promise I won't hand you a buffer ;) Alternatively, I will have my car , so I would be...

    Actual Berth Size

Wow - that's fantastic info to have for comparison - thanks hugely Tom! I dunno, but given those v-berth measurements, looks almost as good as a king! Great table design, and funky sink... what's that all about... middle hole? The photos are super helpful, thanks again :) Lynn

    Ericson 33 WANTED ( California )

Several thoughts on that one K2 re. cockpit/traveler location... Not sure whether Moderators would recommend a different thread at this point or not, but will share a few thoughts for now... guess this is all relates to boat shopping... Much depends on what kind of boat usage you plan on...

    Ericson 33 WANTED ( California )

Thanks, Imagineer, for sharing your choice of model to purchase with respect to single handing. Couldn't agree more re. small headsail and fractional rig. At one time this was at the top of my criteria list, but am observing this gravitate towards the ever-growing compromise list, since the...

    Ericson 33 WANTED ( California )

Yup. Sure did awake a bear... re. "looking specifically for an E-33RH. The E 32-3 is a fine sailboat but does not as easily accomodate single handing." I too am shopping for a boat, and enjoy single handing. If the RH33 had a different interior layout, it definitely would have been the boat of...

    Actual Berth Size

Thanks for the great comparison of the 2 interiors, Christian! Much appreciated. I couldn't agree more about the importance of seeing a boat, but until one comes for sale in my area (BC), or until COVID restrictions lift, when perhaps I might be fortunate enough for some friendly, not so far...

    Keel Bolts on E34-2

Feel a bit like a dog with a bone on this... if manual states 12, down to the one mystery bolt it seems! Thanks a lot for Bob - yes, would be great to see the photos you took.

    Keel Bolts on E34-2

HUGE thank you gcsailor! Btw, are you also an E34 owner? Now back to the detective work it seems... With everyone's help so far, I have learned the location of 9 bolts... This leads me to suspect that the remaining bolts are in difficult to inspect locations... I wonder where they are... ...
