    Parting out a 35ll

Hello. I am in need of a gate stanchion like the one in your photos. Do you still have one for sale?

Baltimore bridge struck by ship, collapses

They said that the anchors were deployed in an effort to slow the ship down. That may be why the stern slipped to port. They called the mayday early enough that they were able to shut down traffic except for those already on the bridge. Video does not appear to show any vehicles on the span at...

    38-200 Bridge clearance

I calculate 62' as needed height on my E38. That's with a 3' antenna. 65' and I am really comfortable. Also don't forget the wake factor! _/) ~~

Varnish: What am I doing wrong?

I think the issue is the rollers. I use a 4" foam brush. I only apply the brush in one direction. When you go back and forth with the brush, it releases the air bubbles trapped on the following edge. Go slow. Never work out of the can. How much are you thinning the varnish?

Tips on removing the holding tank and head in 1980 38ft

I removed and replaced my holding tank on my E38 with no problem. When disconnecting the influent hose you will get some flow. However, when the tank is out, clean up and sterilization is easy. I replaced all hoses and the vent. I also replaced the joker valve, pump assembly and a few other...

    Oil dip stick leaking

Update on the " oil gauge stick ". I had taken a photo of the dip stick a while ago suspecting that it may no longer be sealing correctly. A lot of advise and recommendations came from persons on this forum to whom I say, Thank You. I looked up the part numbers suggested but found no results on...

    Oil dip stick leaking

Jeff, The pan is OK. I was motorsailing on Sunday and the winds were 25 knts. and gusting when we crossed the Patapsco. The wind was perpendicular to the outgoing tide (which we were fighting) and we were busting through some very close and large waves. The boat was heeling on the side of the...

    Oil dip stick leaking

Thanks for all of the great suggestions. I do not believe the O rings are present on the stick. When inserted, it slips in very easily with no resistance. The oil is filled to the correct level. I used the part numbers suggested for the stick and the rings but they are not found on the Kubota...

    Oil dip stick leaking

I was wondering of anyone else has slight oil drips coming out of the dip stick. My stick goes into the engine hole very loosely. at teh normal 1850 rpm's it is OK. When I bump it up to 2200, I notice dripping along the side of the block at the area of the dip stick hole. It then drips down into...

    Slip needed on Easternshore

Actually, there are several slips on my pier which are available all deeper than the one I am in, so availability is not an issue. The distance you may travel to the Handys Point marina is the only unknown.

    Slip needed on Easternshore

I am at Handy's Point North On Worton Creek and have 6'6" draft. There is an empty slip next to mine which has a little deeper water as it is closer to the channel. Rates are OK and access to the bay is only a few minutes (5-6). The manager is Jeff Brussells, 410-778-4363 or 410-476-7092. Email...

Can I remove the blower and hoses?

My blower stopped working about 4 years ago. I just replaced it this year and added a separate toggle switch. The old blower turned on automatically when you turned the ignition key. I replaced it in an effort to remove some of the trapped hot air in the engine compartment as well as the heat...

    Main halyard

When I replaced mine, I used 7/16" line. I believe I looked it up in the original boat documents from the factory. I bought 140" I believe. I pulled up a tape measure to the top of the mast with the main halyard. Length x 2 plus, from the deck to the deck organizer, then through the clutches and...

Propane tanks to fit molded lockers in cockpit

Your hull is 513 and mine is 536. Pretty close numbers, only 23 apart. I wonder how they assigned the hull numbers? Did they follow the numbers progressively in order, or did they skip some numbers,or was there some other set of parameters they used to assign the number?

Propane tanks to fit molded lockers in cockpit

Christian, it is a 380, head is forward, salon table has no cut out for the mast as the 382 does. Layout is the same as yours.
