    HELP!- Wiring Issues

Thanks. She has an original A4...older model. People have over the years bypassed everything. I got her started tge other day only to not be able to shut her off. Local wrench played with wiring and we never got her started again.

    HELP!- Wiring Issues

I have an 1973 Ericson E-32. We have been experiencing issues with wiring. Apparently someone miswired the ignition control panel and it keeps shorting out. Most recently I think it toasted the starter. Can anyone: 1) Steer me to a schematic that I can make sense of...or draw one perhaps. 2)...

    Upper Deck Re-Epoxy and....

Great pix. Great ideas. See my last reply below. I have many of the same issues. BTW...the prior idiot, sorry owner, stained all the mahogany trim in the cockpit. It looks awful. I intend to sand down and clear coat. What did you use? It looks terrific.

    Upper Deck Re-Epoxy and....

BTW... I know this is all a lot of work but these crafts deserve our love and TLC. I got mine for basically paying off the winter yard fee so if I have to put in 100 hours of work, I figure I am still getting a bargain. You know it's funny, as a contractor I drive around and see houses...

    Upper Deck Re-Epoxy and....

The cabin top area and hatchway are also a mess but far more solid. They show obvious signs of major neglect over the years and shoddy patch jobs using caulk and epoxy sealant on the mahogany hatches and such but for the most part I can walk on them without fearing I will step through. The prior...

    Upper Deck Re-Epoxy and....

That is my next attack after I can walk on the deck again of course.

    Upper Deck Re-Epoxy and....

Thank you to everyone for the pix. I will post next time I go up to work on her. Of note is that I determined the inconsistency in thickness must be due to years of treading on a soggy top. The edges are all 1/2". I just ordered more balsa as I am doing virtually the whole deck. I have removed...

    Upper Deck Re-Epoxy and....

I apologize for my "language" but honestly....take care of your boats. Please!

    Upper Deck Re-Epoxy and....

Ok, so as some of you know, I am restoring a majorly neglected 32-2. There is extensive moisture and rotted balsa below the surface. I have actually opened up the entire foredeck and am starting on the port and starboard sides. The prior owner should be hog tied, tar and feathered, then shot for...

    Cushion Issue

OK… so I recently acquired a 1973 Ericson 32 Sailboat. Upon looking at the cushion inventory I noticed a mish mash of designs, some original, some fairly recent (although I have to say poorly done) recoverings. I took it upon myself to order some supplies from Sailrite, watch their videos, etc...

V-berth Pix of "V" Supports and Cushion Platform Insert

I really like your slide-out idea. It solves that storage issue that I find so problematic. I am going to play around with some possibilities but thanks.
