I'm the owner of a 1979 Ericson 25+, which is my first sailboat. I spent nearly a year repairing and restoring it to good functional condition, at which point I started to teach myself how to sail. Thus far all my sailing has been done single handed, but occasionally with non-sailing guests along for the ride (mostly my wife and young son). We’ve taken a few cruises around Puget Sound and the San Juan Islands, including to the 2017 Ericson rendezvous at Langley. Recently I entered my first sailboat race (June 2017) with my Ericson 25+, and now I’ve caught the racing bug and have been racing fairly regularly ever since. I like sailing, working on boats, talking about boats, and enjoying fine micro-brews with friends.
