Strange little sea creatures (Salish Sea)

Those little creatures are called skeleton shrimp, but they are not actually shrimp, they're a type of amphipod (like beach hoppers).

Regards to aerodynamics vs. wind...be it sail or wing >>>

Cheating maybe...but the pilot had to have some epic skills, or at least some serious luck. Talk about "sticking" the landing!

Kinleven Mast Ladder and Mast Climbing Options [Master Thread]

Holy crap! Nothing looks right about that. Especially the forestay attached by only a fragment of a cotter pin, at best. What a lucky discovery before something really bad happened! This reinforces my need to find out what's going on at the top of my mast; it hasn't been inspected for a long time.

    HIN vs Sail Number

Congrats on your "new to you" E-26-2. I'd say the sail numbers don't really confirm anything about your sails being original or not. From what you write your boat's production number is #248, so your sail numbers don't match that. I own a 1979 Ericson 25+ (basically the prototype to your...

2019 PNW Anacortes – Participant Sign Up

Re: E25+ sighting Kevin, Yes...that was me returning Mola Mola to Kingston after our post-rendezvous cruise around the San Juan Islands. Afterwards my wife and son drove home from Anacortes, while I made the trek across the Strait of Juan de Fuca and down the Sound -- where our paths briefly...

2019 PNW Anacortes – Participant Sign Up

Things are starting to fall into place. Mola Mola has been assigned slip C-26. Now to get the boat and everything else ready to leave at first light tomorrow morning...yikes! I hope I can get it all done before then. -- Scott

2019 PNW Anacortes – Participant Sign Up

Mola Mola may be a last minute addition to the rendezvous. I just talked with the marina representative, and she said she would try to fit us in with the rest of the Ericson group. She's going to call back later to let me know. I"ll update the group when I get the information. Scott, Cynthia...
