E38 Fuel gauge sender
My sender is/was a vertical tube with a float on two rails inside. Just wondering where I might find a replacement...
Thanks for the replies people!

Hello,
My fuel gauge sending unit died and I am trying to replace. Anyone out there have experience? My tank is original 54 gallon on a 1984 E38.
Thanks,
Paul
Have an extra wheel since replacing with folding version. This is a really nice stainless wheel with an excellent rope wrap.
Has a 1"hub with spacer washer. First $100 and U arrange pick-up.
Ground it off?
I would have traded you! Ha! Beauty is in the eye of the beholder... I wanted to attach my cradle cover to it... it creeps forward when the main gets let way out. I will keep trying.

E 38 engine model M5432

Hello Ericson Experienced,
My forward freshwater tank (which I believe is stainless steel and 60 gal.) is leaking slowly. Since it is an old boat I realize I am likely relegated to replacing the tank. My starboard tanks seem OK (would have been easier probably if they were the problem). Anyway...
M5432 Dipstick
Well, I finally figured it out... the extension tube and longer dipstick was likely something placed by Ericson at the time of manufacture (1984) to help with accessibility. When I unbolted the bracket on the extension the whole thing was able to be popped out of the block. Now...
