A well-equipped and well-maintained boat, Encore is located in San Carlos, Mexico on the Sea of Cortez where she has been cruising actively for the past 7 years. Sadly it is time for her to find a new owner. We have a list of upgrades and equipment that we can email to anyone interested or the...
Had a couple of leaks in mine as well. Had to trim off a little to get it out, but did it. Had it pressure tested and repaired in Mexico so maybe an option for you. Now have 52 gal tank.

Noticed what appears to be a plug around hole as prop shaft exits the hull. It is an area about 3" wide and 6" long. Is this a standard plug area at exit tube or is this maybe some type of patch? the crack around this is very straight so not a random cracking --- any thoughts?
thanks

keel bolts
we just finished dropping the keel and rebedding. We have the engine under the galley sink and yes we had to remove the engine, water tank, and mast to be sure we could get to all the bolts adequately. sorry know that is not what you wanted to hear.

My Dad and I built a Sailfish from plans in Mehanics Illustrated in the 50's. then on to racing on M20 then keel boats. wow that is a LONG time sailing
will try to figure out how to get pics posted. Have them from the yard in an email, but am not smart enuf to know how to get them here.
Cory could you please describe the process of replacing the bolts themselves/ understand about dropping the keel, but the bolts are a mystery.
thanks for...
yep yard incident, real bummer. Boat is presently in Mexico so not sure shipping to Canada is cost effective. Also not sure they can do the work in Mexico, so hence my dilemma. Christian, what is sistering?? is that just attaching a new bolt to the old somehow??
