    Insulating a V berth?

No worries, totally missed any awkward reference myself! And that query came up a goose egg to boot!

    Chain Plate Inspection

Before I jump in and do something I'll regret..... I'm looking to inspect the chainplates broadly speaking, but more specifically on the starboard side. I had a leak through the starboard port light slider (head), it was leaking long enough that I want to check the chainplate and the structure...

What's the most HP an Ericson 29 can handle?

I really appreciate those reply's. I'm not in a position to re-power currently, but when I am I'll be coming back to this thread. Currently have 11 hp which is fine for a 1st timer, but if I reach the point where I'm on longer trips / more open water I think I'd want more hp as backup.

Wow, thanks for all those reply's, that's very helpful! Someone gave me great advice to find a site with Ericson owners!

    Replacing a Port Light

You're right, that's a lot of ifs but I'm happy to look. But you'll have to point me there, not familiar with the site yet.

    Replacing a Port Light

I have an Ericson 29, and am looking to replace the original Port Light, Starboard side over the Head (original has a slider). Looking to replace without a slider, so just a typical Port Light. Curious what other folk have done, where they've gone looking etc. Thanks a bunch!
