I looked for a translation site on the web. One site rendered the initial post in "English"... I hope it was accurate.

Glad we could make it work for you. Since Bologna is inland, which coast do you keep your boat on?

To help future non-English speakers, enrollment as a member has a couple of anti-robot questions and the second did not translate well to Italian. It asks about what media the mast travels in and of course, in English we would say "air." Media translates to what in English would be essentially medium or average, not atmosphere for air.

Ho comperato Ericson in Lignano Sabbiadoro Udine, ex armatore Pilota Americano Nato, la barca mi è piaciuta subito, ci sono lavori da fare, col tempo si faranno.
I bought Ericson in Lignano Sabbiadoro Udine, a former American born pilot shipowner, I liked the boat immediately, there is work to be done, over time it will be done.

You live in a fascinating area. I've enjoyed renting motorcycles from Rome to ride Italy and recently finished reading a couple of Robert Crowley's books, including Empires of the Sea, which is about the fighting in the Med in the early 1500s. So many things 500 years + of age are still there that regardless of the modern issues, it's easy to still connect with the history. I was looking to another European ride this summer but COVID is going to put that off for at least a year.
