Anyone know what these are ? Left on boat by previous owner.

A friend of mine who used to single hand his 42 footer fitted a less-expensive tiller pilot, a number of years ago. He had (or built) a little bracket that would clamp onto the ss wheel, and then the TP would drop onto the pin, as tho it were on a tiller. I recalll his bracket being simpler, tho.(?)
Note that in calm seas, it takes very little movement of the piston to steer the boat, so it worked pretty well in practice. Obviously it could not move the wheel a lot.
Your picture kind of reminds me of this attachment. Perhaps.

That bracket looks like it would be used to mount something to the safety rail maybe ?

Thanks all. Have been sitting on these for almost five years thinking that the meaning of their existence would reveal itself at some time. The PO had an E27 prior to this boat. Maybe these were for a tiller pilot on that boat.
