Is my engine a universal model M12?

What year is the boat? It has similarities to my 87' M-12 but plenty of differences also.

1983 28+ but it might be a universal 5411

Not that you were asking about this, but I'd recommend that you lose the primer bulb. It's risky and also might make the insurance company unhappy if you ever had to file a fuel-related claim. Also, it appears that your engine has the special valve that lets you bleed the engine easily when installing new filters. So not only is the primer bulb a potential hazard, there's no need for it anyway.
