would anyone be interested in sharing their "weekend Project" with others as the April or May guest speaker for the monthly zoom session?

Since I posted the before pic, I figured I should post the after. With the boat elevated off of the trailer bunks using the bottle jacks and stands, we took about another 6 hours of time this weekend to shift the trailer forward, move whatever stands were in the way, one at at time, rinse and repeat. We were probably more careful than we needed to be in terms of number of stands, and might have been able to make some bigger moves of the trailer. But it went well and uneventful, which was the primary goal.

I’d like to know more about how this went. I’m going to have to replace the floor on my 1984 28+ soon.
Gitano, You might want to take a look at this “Master Thread” (https://ericsonyachts.org/ie/threads/removal-of-glued-down-cabin-sole-master-thread.1526/ ) about cabin sole replacement. I’m on the back half of my cabin sole replacement project with all the pieces cut and pre-treated with CPES, holes drilled for screws (I’m not gluing the new sole in), outside bottom edges (not those edges that butt up to another sole piece) rounded off using a router bit to conform to the curve in the fiberglass deck where the tech & holly edges meet it. Much more info on the Master Thread that I used to get me though my sole replacement so far. Check it out!

Hi Gitano,
Our sole project has been overrun by other more pressing projects. We're still on the hard, hoping to get in the water in a week or two. I'm just going to cut some temporary panels out of construction plywood to get us to the fall. I'll publish on this site when I get back to it. We can learn from each other. As Bob says, that master thread has a wealth of information.
I started another thread on the E35-3 sole, specifically. In the first post I listed every reference I'd found helpful. Some may be helpful for you as well.
Good luck!!
Jeff
