For sale by owner: an incredibly great Ericson 25+
This boat has most things you are looking for in a coastal cruising boat:
- reef-able main sail and roller furling jib (both overhauled by local sail maker winter 2024/2025)
- steered by tiller
- plenty of anchor rode for spending the night comfortably on the hook
- head room for >6-foot tall sailors
- solar panels for independence from shore power (i.e., stay on mooring, not a slip)
- sleeps up to four
- lots of storage
- denatured alcohol stove
- head with a door and real (new in 2023) toilet
- all new hoses from freshwater tank to head sink and galley sink
- new standing rigging (as of 2024)
- 9 HP inboard Yanmar (that needs some work; water is getting into the engine oil; have not diagnosed the cause)
- spare sails (older ones)
She is clean and ready to sail.
