30+ spinnaker halyard

recently purchased a '80 30+ (ERY30540M80H) with a spinnaker in the inventory. the previous two owners never flew it. i have a kenyon mast with the 'triple-cage' sheaves. i'm guessing the sheave (port side) is for the spinnaker. is this correct? i've attached a pic of the mast head (hopefully) showing the port-side sheave.
thanks, steve

I would look for a jib halyard underneath the head stay attachment, and two "wing" halyards intended for spinnaker use.
Try to use the one on the side that you plan to keep the spinn. on the majority of the time. Even with good polishing, there will be extra friction where the halyard crosses over, after a jibe.
