35-2 portlights

I removed and rebedded all of my port lights two years ago but did not replace them. I used lots of 3M 2100 to fill in the dead space between the inner and outer layers as well. I also found that with the lights you speak of, water was getting in from the glass/gasket seal. I tried the "easy way" to fix it- taped off the glass and aluminum and ran a bead of clear silicone sealant. Presto! I have been dry ever since. Hope this helps. Kim Bache, s/v Nocturne '76 E35-2
