Any thoughts on this leak

I am getting a little water near the thru hulls under the galley Sink.
The water is coming down from the engine pan on the tafg.
The water only appears after the boat has been sailing and heeled some.

My initial thought is that it is coming from the freshwater system.
Either the pump (which is not cycling on and off)
The accumulater tank (which feels dry)
The engine muffler (which does not appear to be leaking)
The hot water tank (Which looks dry)
or the mess of connections (that appear dry) in the rear lazzerrette behind the sink that distributes the water before and after it goes to the pump.

Any thoughts would be helpful
Thanks

I had something similar and it turned out to be the galley sink drain hose. On my boat a hose connects to the bottom of the sink drain to the seacock. There was a slight crack in the hose at the drain connection point

Leak

That seems to be the most popular spot for water gatherings on my E38 as well.

I've had;

the sink drain leak
sink drain thru hull leak
pressure water leak in the engine compartment
a tiny crack in the accumulator tank (also in the engine compartment)
leaking water filter in the lazarette
leaking foot pump
leaking fridge pump out
and the one that caused the most water down there ...
the PSS "dripless" shaft seal dripped more than a little.

Anything leaking in the lazarettes or engine room will find it's way over there.

Once the boat heels over (on port tack) given sufficient water accumulation, it will leak out onto the cabin sole.

That's usually how I know something's wrong. The wife is screaming something about sinking just because the rugs are wet ... go figure.

Check to see if you have a lot of water trapped in the TAFG. If so, the water could be finding it's way out when you're heeded. If the bilge has water in it, pump it out, and open the drain plugs. Just a thought:rolleyes:

Mine usually has a small bit of water sitting in that low spot under the galley sink inboard and forward of the seacocks. I know its fresh water because a) I tasted it. (I taste almost everything) and b) its still pink from antifreezing the water system. I had a leak, cracked compression nut in one of the polybutylene plumbing lines just aft of the galley sink area. The water collected there. PITA to fix. There was lots then but now theres always just a bit, especially after sailing hard. I don't let it bother me. RT
