Best way to repair the cockpit floor without removing the rudder

Tough to resist the urge to dive in, but I'd patch it for now and sail her and save the real job for the winter. Rule #1: go sailing! Good luck and keep us posted.
Yup but when down since need a new main (think mine is old enough it's not worth just getting it patched) but I might look into it at least as for a spare

We were going to put off buying new sails for a few years and patched a ripped jib. The following good breeze, the sections next to the patches tore out. When it's toast, it's toast. Have tote bags made out of the old sail and enjoy the new one. A new sail really is a magical thing.
