Dock love and ?able repair

Started grinding crazing crazy cracks and found semi sub standard old repair,, to grind completely out( air in previous glass) , or epoxy fair ,add glassover, or just fair it out and prime… the boat is a complete refit rerig.
Looking for thoughts ,fairing seems the quikest

If it is just gelcoat crazing, and you're planning to paint, I'd just fair and paint.

If on the other hand they are "cracks" - meaning, they pass through gelcoat to the laminate, then yeah, grinding and filling is probably the right long-term fix.
