E38 roller furling line size

I've been using 3/8" New England sta-set furling and have not been happy with it so it's on my list to replace in spring before stepping the mast. The sta-set line is very stiff and has got fluffy. I'm interested in what others are using for their roller furling line on an E38 with a 135 genoa? By the way remind me what length does the line need to be?

I use 3/8 Regatta braid and very pleased. There's a length formula--something like 1.5 x boat length. I think I ordered 65'.
