I have been inundated wth emails similar to this one. WOuld you treat it as a scam or interested buyer. I’m feeling my spider senses tingle. No talk about condition of the boat or anything—just sale.

I vote scam. "I have a reliable carrier..." that will carry off your nice boat, while the check he gave you bounces all the way to the bank.
Not asking any questions about the boat?? What legitimate boat buyer does that??

I agree with David. You've done a nice job documenting the condition of the boat and engine, its reasonably priced. I would only respond to the question 'is there a good time for me to see the boat?'. That indicates real interest. I usually reference that in ads I place, i.e. let me know if there's a time you'd like to see the boat, motorcycle, etc.. and we can discuss anything you'd like at that time. I don't respond to any other type of question and only discuss with real people, in person. Plenty of other approaches but this has worked for me.

Pretty sure that’s a scam. Turns out to be a bad check or some other annoying setup.
