Ericson 381 1982 For Sale Maybe

I have just taken possession a 1982 381 Ericson here on Long Island NY. The owner passed away in October. The boat is now on a mooring and I've been tasked with moving it to wet storage here at a local marina. The maybe in the title is because when boarding and entering I was impressed with this boat. More than likely I will sell it the local sailboat marina here in Huntington NY really wants the boat so he can sell it but I'm looking for other options. I'm going to link to some videos here which I took quickly because the bay constable took me to the boat since I run a marine salvage business here. This boat is not going to be salvaged and parted like we usually do. Its just to nice and complete. I know the boat was sailed here from Rhode Island in the spring and the owner was getting ready to sail it to Florida or the Bahamas. Heres a few short videos I took. If anyone's interested let me know. There are 5 short videos in the playlist on that youtube channel

Aft O' Ours is the name of the boat. The pictures I took were just quick shots. I'll take more. The boat seemed very complete including the satelite phone. The previous owner had a heart attack in the parking lot of the marina apparently. He was 92

Well Darn!
If I had not already completed the re-fit on our 34 footer, a decent model 381 would be near the top of our List!
Good luck with marketing it.

I am interested in the asking price also.
I'm not sure just yet. I will go over it when I bring it into a slip toady or tomorrow. Probably in the 30-40k range as she sits. I'll be at a marina where they store over 100 sailboats. I have a boat salvage yard here on Long Island and mostly part out boats but this one is just to complete and to nice and well thought out in design. If I don't own it I think someone else should.

Any reasonable offer will be considered. I don't want to pay for the haul out and winter storage. Its at a marina in Huntington NY right now.
