Ericson cabinet doors

Saw these neat cabinet doors at the consignment marine store in Ventura. If anyone is doing a project they might be a nice addition.

Curious how, in the 70s and 80s, that stencil would have been cut. Looks very precise work for a jigsaw.

I honestly think it’s not original. I’ve never seen a boat with these in them.
Most likely something someone did recently.
Still very cool.

I could be wrong but I don't think Ericson finished the inner profile of the cabinet door frame with a router. What I have seen is the traditional rail and stile shaper treatment the leaves a square corner. Very cool door though!

Another guess, and that's all it is, is that back in the distant 70's Ericson owners tended to be a bit more emotionally involved in their chosen sailboat.
