Potential for a sale of a well kept / restored ericson independence / cape liberty 1979 hull.

I have been restoring the boat for over 18 months and sailed down to Guatemala so well seatrialed! I’ve done so much to the boat and no expense was spared. I’m selling due to moving to australia and after some thought Im deciding to let her go. I know the boat inside out so you can get a full handover of systems.

2019 beta marine 25hp - fully serviced and cleaned - new coolant, impeller, heat exchanger pulled & cleaned . Updated 75ah alternator, r&d flex coupling and new shaft side coupling from beta, New cutlass bearing, new engine mounts,

full sand of hull below water line - I repaired 26 minor osmotic blisters, 4 x international 2000e barrier coat and then micron CSC topcoat, full repaint of hull above water line - fighting lady yellow and artist finish on bow sprit

there is mostly cosmetic work left to be done now as she is a 1979 vintage, my list is ongoing my current projects were going to be repair and paint the deck, i have found 2 small soft spots which need to be addressed in non critical areas.

Painting of the cockpit and sanding back all bronze to polish finish. I will be back in Guatemala to keep going on with these projects as if she doesn’t sell I will put into a longer term storage mode and keep her for when I get back.
