Fridge and cooktop suggestions for 31' Cutter

Hello, I'm starting from scratch in the galley of a 1979 31' Cutter, considering replacing the (rotting) ice box with a 12V fridge, ditching the oven, and installing an induction cooktop. If anyone has done anything so drastic to a conventional galley, and has equipment models, dimensions, power demand and wiring instructions, please share!!

Thanks!

Welcome, from a fellow 31 owner. Great boat.
If your icebox insulation is trashed, you’ll have to get creative, but if it’s still works as insulation… a previous owner added a Frigoboat Keel Cooler system and it worked great for around 15 years before it gave up this winter.
We’ll probably repair it eventually but in the meantime we picked up a Dometic portable fridge that lives in the space under the fold down table. CFX5 55IM. Surprisingly efficient and quiet And is less in the way than I thought it would be. The 45L would be a better fit in that space but the Admiral wanted the option of the ice maker on the 55.

As for the cooktop, we haven’t gone that route yet. But as LiFePO4 batteries become smaller we might. We have a portable single unit that we use when on shore power, but it draws 1800w and that is very near our inverter’s 2000w capacity. And it’s more than I want to pull from our current 300Ah house bank.
Be interested in hearing what you end up with.
