Installing a galvanic isolator on Rumour, an Ericson 32-3:

PXL_20201016_174250561.jpg

Any suggestions from experience, word of mouth, or hearsay on where to mount this thing? Instructions say to keep it in a dry ventilated area and it only needs to be connected inline of the green grounding conductor from the shore power inlet, which on Rumour is located under the port side stern lazarette. Options I'm thinking about are:
  1. Mounted in the port side stern lazarette just after the shore power inlet
  2. In the cubby to the left of the DC/AC panels on port side
Engine bay seems like a poor choice since it would require running a grounding wire away from inlet/panel and back
