Hello from 1982 36C - Mola

I bought this boat in San Diego and brought it up to Long Beach in April, but just figured out how to register for this site. Lots of fun projects coming up so I'm sure I'll be back with plenty of questions.

Welcome! The 36C is one of my favorite Bruce King designs. Your ‘82 doesn’t appear to have the usual decorative scroll work at the bow. Are there other significant differences from the ‘70s versions?

Yes I believe my hull was finished by someone else. I don't have a ton of information. It also has pedastal steering (although there is a panel where the worm drive used to be so may have originally had that steering. For the most part the deck and cockpit are what youd expect I think. The buildout below is a bit more spartan than I've seen on other 36Cs online but im not sure what is custom on other people's boats. People seem to like to make a lot of alterations. I'm getting ready to put some Lewmar hatches on to replace the worn out wood frame and acrylic ones. Let me know if any of you have done that.
