Helmsman seat with the hump. I found it!!

Does anyone know where, or if its possible to get a raised or humped helmsman seat that would fit on a 1982 E-38? I had that on my Pearson and loved it. I found it!! http://www.teakflex.com/helmseat.htm

It came with the 89' model... Not sure where you could buy one but I bet with some foam and glass you could fab one up pretty easily. Then get a cushion guy to make you a cushion.

I wonder if Item #108 or #110 might help? We have something very similar to the #110 and it really helps a shorter helmsperson see to drive.

Different answers from the home workshop, too -- Martin would make a teak seat with a perfect arch in it... and I and Ted might go with epoxy and cloth, molded over a form. I would use foam core or honeycomb for strength.

Have fun!

C Cushions

When we ordered cockpit cushions from C Cushions, I had an 8 inch hump added to the foamwhich really improves visibility and comfort. However, at around $800 for a set of four cushions, they weren't cheap. If you're intereted, I can send apicture. C Cushions is located in Rockport, Texas.
