Ignition Switch

I have a 1987 Ericson 35-3 with the 5432 engine. The ignition switch is giving me problems and have decided to replace. I pulled the one currently in use but there are no markings, whatsoever. Has anyone replaced one of these and if so, what manufacturer and part number did you use? The current switch is simply on and off with to connection at the base.

Thanks for your help
Chris

They are easy to replace. Any chandlery should have a suitable replacement if you show them the pic.

Thanks to the both of you. I was under the impression that there was only a single switch that could be used but, of course, I was wrong. I’ll stop by West Marine and see what they have available.

Some boat owners simply replace these with an ordinary waterproof switch… especially if they are more concerned about losing, forgetting, or breaking a key than they are about unauthorized engine starting.
