Interesting Sailing Weather web site. From researching the archives for my area (Hurricane Gulch, in LA Harbor), it seems to give pretty accurate information. Just thought I would share it. I am still learning how to read the graphs.

Jeff,
Thanks for the Sailflow lead. I'm planning to take my family out on my E35, Golden Girl on the 4th to watch the 9pm fireworks show at Cabrillo Beach. If I'm reading one of the charts correctly, the wind should be blowing at about 8 knots during the show. I'm not sure what to expect as far as number of boats in the inner harbor doing the same thing. If it ends up like "all skate" at the Roller Rink, I might just come back to the slip. Have you ever watched the fireworks from your Boat?

I use sailflow (WELL worth the $8/month) as well as the http://www.arl.noaa.gov/ready/cmet.html models, especially the windgram (assuming surface winds at 1000mb). when everything lines up, I work under the theory that is what will happen... Just give the closest airport code you can- we're lucky in that we have a Naval Air Station right where we sail.
