Lewmar 40st wavegrip winch

Hello all, the jaws on these antique winches are so worn they will not hold the line consistantly anymore. A simple replacement set of jaws seems to not exist anywhere. Any suggestions?

I've found Ebay to be a good source for that type of thing. I've wavegrips on the Independence total overkill but sure makes for smooth tailing!

A search on line for Lewmar winch spares/parts brings up quite a few vendors. You might want to contact several and see if they have the part you need.
