Lewmar 40st wavegrip winch

Hello all, the jaws on these antique winches are so worn they will not hold the line consistantly anymore. A simple replacement set of jaws seems to not exist anywhere. Any suggestions?

Thank you,
Bill McLean (pretty antique myself)

Thank you fellas. I contacted winchspares, as Andy suggested.

The guy takes new Lewmar jaws and machines them to fit the old wave grips. He responded to my enquiry (ok, ok, Brit term-the guy is out of Chichester UK) quickly and the pair I ordered arrived in the US yesterday.

Nice. I'm glad to hear they are still in business.

I love working with smaller shops like theirs that meets a specific need and keeps older gear working. They had the parts I needed to repair an ST30 that had some issues a few years back.
