Do you remember when we discussed this subject? Attached are pictures of the three ways I have seen this done.
One is a little clip that holds the lifeline to the shroud. I had not seen a clip like this one before, it was quite simple and refined. You can barely make it out in the picture (sorry about that).
One is with the lifeline just led outside of the shroud.
And the third is to add a lifeline stanchion. This picture is my boat during the Oregon Offshore in May. The PIYA requirements include a lower lifeline, and you can see that I used webbing for that.
After this discussion some time ago, I thought folks might be interested in seeing the different alternatives.
