New to me dinghy

Hello friends!
What a happy day ,I got so lucky this week. Found this hard dinghy on the marketplace for a price less than a kayak , and then my friend Peter let have his old trolling motor he had on his garage. All it needs is the prop and online is less than 20 bucks to replace.Had oars. Has no sailing kit but ill make my own in the future.Xmass is early this year!

And by the way ,is also a perfect fit. I can walk around it and work on my anchor tray.

Looks to be a sailing dinghy, keep an eye out for the extra parts

Looks like a Walker Bay 8. The company survives, but now selling $$$ RIB's. They sold thousands of their sailing/rowing 8' and 10' dinghies. Not cheap, but well regarded. Keep watching CL for sailing kits and parts....

Is a Bay Walker 8
supposed to be 73 pounds but feel like less . I am able to lift it with one arm.
With flotation around the rub rail seem to be very stable.
