Re-insulating my icebox

Howdy, all,

I just bought an Ericson 38 200 and am looking to re-insulate the ice box. Long story short, the existing insulation has become waterlogged due to excessive condensation.

Any info or advice on the best way to accomplish this would be greatly appreciated.

Are you sure? The original insulation is closed-cell foam which will not absorb water. and if it was done similarly as on my boat, the only exposed foam was where the refrigerant tubes entered. Is the original installation damaged in any way?
