I always struggle with the quarterberth access cover when accessing that area. It always seems slide down and fall wherever I prop it up. Sometimes, I already have the ladder and engine compt. cover removed so there is no nearby convenient place to put it.
Finally, I added a small pad-eye to the back side so I can hang the panel from a bungee right there in the quarterberth.
Also found a place to mount a spare alternator belt.
