Speaking of Keel Design...

Hello Everyone,
Has any seen a keel like the one on my Ericson 36 (RH) in the attached photos. It was like this when I bought the boat in July of 2001. Sorry I don't have better pictures. This is hull number 2 I believe but I'll have to double check. Seth did they ever put this kind of wing keel on at the factory? Any and all imput would be interesting.

Robert - I think I have a copy of an Ericson brochure from the early '80's that mentions a winged keel option. I'll see if I can dig it up. Not sure if yours is factory or not, but I seem to remember the option in a brochure.
