This will surprise a lot of people who we met at the PNW meet up, our E35-3 is going to the market.

An add is not up, but a lot of people saw the boat in Anacortes, and if you are our friends and are interested, do contact me, before we sign a sales contract.

Questions

Why are we selling? Not enough wind in the PMW for our boating, we are not long distance voyagers, so a trawler makes more sense.
Is the boat sound? I've fixed everything I could find broken and done some upgrades.
Will we miss her? Very much so?
Another why selling? Even though I'm only 68, I have a lot of bad injuries over the years, joint replacements, and a fused neck. I can't adequately maneuver in the boat any more and my wife worries about me hurting myself. Yes, I know Christian has a good bit of time on me, but he is in better than me.

EW group owners, get a first shot at the boat.

I'll update with photo's etc.

Whatever keeps you on the water, enjoying life, is the way to go :)
Since locating my boat to a marina on Mobile Bay AL, which is very close to the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway, I've heard about a number of older longterm sailors, who want to keep adventuring, switch to a trawler. You'll have fun! I'm 69, but still want to do a few years of solo cruising (starting after hurricane season), but I won't rule out a trawler or similar in the next ~5-10 years.

Here are some shots of Bacchus, for an older boat, she is in pretty good shape and we've improved her in the short time that we have owned her. She has an upgraded optional Universal M30 engine, PSS shaft seals, pro furl head sail furling unit, functioning mast head unit (direction, speed, angle), ray marine wheel pilot (we've used it a lot), Simrad GO9 with a pretty slick removable binnacle mount, water cooled refrigration which gets very cold in about 1/2 hour, mainsale stack pack type system for ease of handling, cushions were redone and are thick and comfortable, windless with a wired remote, 135 feet of chain backed up by 3 strand anchor road, hydraulic back stay adjuster, all sail controls lead to the cockpit, 2 extra halyards on the front of the mast for spinnakers, we have an asymmetrical spinnaker with snuffing sock, extra head sails in the garage, lift system to hoist an outboard from a dingy.

We also have a virtually brand new west marine 8.5 RIB and a 4 HP Yamaha outboard (older, purchased on eBay, but runs), which can be bundled in the purchase, or even purchased separately.

The boat is currently in Blaine marina, but will be moving to dry storage in approximately 10 days. We have not signed a listing agreement with a broker, but will probably do so when the boat goes into storage. Blaine is right on the Canadian boarder on in Washington state, with access to the gulf islands and the san Juans islands. Slip may be available for sublease depending on circumstances.
