Waste Holding Tank

We had our first sail this weekend with some guest on the boat ( 5 total). Pumped the tank before we left and filled it before we got back to the dock.

It looks like it may be about an 8gl tank.

Question is has anyone installed a Lectra/San on a E38? I have friend who has one on his 42' Cat and swears buy it.

A little pricy at $1K but you never have to pump a tank.

Strictly from reading boating mags, I get the impression that there are some harbors/areas where you could not discharge into the water from one of those.

I'm pretty sure Avalon, Catalina Island here in SoCal is one of them.

Our 38 is currently in a no discharge area. I have a lectra san that was installed. It worked when I pulled it out, about 6 years ago. Let me know if you would be interested

rgoff,
You are correct on Avalon. Newport Bay, Dana Point, Mission Bay, San Diego Bay and Hungtington Harbor are all no discharge zones in SoCal. Richardson Bay is the only area up here in SF Bay.

e38 owener,

I would be interested contact me on my e-mail.
