window bezels

[Desiderata]

I read a thread a few years ago about how to make our window bezels shiny bright. (wet sand w/400, then again with 600 grt and finally Never Dull). It worked great and I've had many compliments and some even thought they were stainless. As I was proudly finishing the last one, 1 of the old salts walked by saying "Nice, .... for about 2 weeks" It's not that bad, but IS a good deal of maintenance. I wondered if anyone has found any way to spray some kind of clear coat on them that lasts.

You'll have to put something on it since the protective anodized surface has been removed.
